ABOUT ME

My name is Bethany Coulthurst and I am a freelance translator translating documents and software from German and Chinese into English and editing translated texts. I am based in the United Kingdom and am subject to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

WHY IS DATA COLLECTED?

I currently collect, store, and process the following information:

Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
Personal information contained in documents for translation or editing

Most of the personal information is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons:

To provide a quote for translation
To provide translation or editing services and deliver the final documents
To issue invoices for services rendered

All data is processed on my own computer and mobile phone, which are protected by password and fingerprint recognition, and is not accessible by third parties. I do not use your personal data for marketing purposes or disclose it to unauthorised third parties. The providers of my Cloud storage, email, and website may also have access to your personal data. These providers are compliant with the GDPR.
